WHAT IS DC315 COATING?
DC315 is an intumescent (heat-reactive) coating that is spray-applied directly over exposed spray foam insulation. When exposed to heat, DC315 expands to form a protective char layer that slows flame spread and buys critical evacuation time — meeting Ontario Building Code requirements for thermal barriers and ignition barriers.
